Yep, thats how you die. It's true that this kills bots, but, to be honest - I'd rather have 5 billion bots than how this is. It resulted in me losing 400k worth of bones. Screw Jagex. I don't have the time to bother. They allow only FT/W because of their concern for farmers who produce gold (yes, they took away Gold4rs). What a sham. They're not trying to create gold4fun.

Jagex's involvement in the game seems to have increased significantly. Laissez-Faire game development, in which items and mechanics would be thrust into the game and not touched again, ruled for a long time. There were a myriad of mechanical issues that resulted. The huge disparity of combat skills and Melee/Range/Mage styles was rendered unprofitable. Jagex just recently started to look seriously at game mechanics and began work to polish the game's mechanics.

One prime example is degradable weapons such as Chaotics, Nex Armor and Nex Armor. Meleeing weapons that have repair costs that are comparable to bolts and runes of other styles of combat can be very beneficial to even the financial field. The effectiveness of range and Magic has also been improved with the release of weapons such as Ava's Accumulator as well as the Staff of Light.

Versatility has been granted to these forgotten combat styles that was Melee's greatest strength. Crossbows and 1h Rangd weapons have allowed to use the style in more situations, including against dragonfire. Ranged is still lacking some advantages, including equipment and ammunition that is cheap, in magic, but there is a desire to improve it.

A variety of skills have been improved to make them more attractive. Smithing was once an unimportant skill, was included in a variety of items, including Dragonfire Shields (Godswords) and Godswords (Dragonfire Shields). The workshop was also an opportunity to reduce training costs. Herblore is perhaps the most visible example, having become nearly as essential to endgame content as Prayer and Summoning. In reality, Firemaking is the sole thing that remains completely useless.
