There are two types of graphics cards in laptops, dedicated and integrated. Dedicated graphics cards are separate from integrated graphics, which are part of the silicon of the CPU. The former processes graphics and frames. Even if your laptop doesn’t have a dedicated graphics card, it can still perform well. In fact, it may have two or more of these cards, so check the specs.
