#biscertification (ISI) is required for exports to India under the Foreign Manufacturers Certification Scheme. #bisregistration (CRS), however, may be needed for some products. These products must have BIS Certification to be sold and introduced on the Indian Market. BIS Registration or BIS Certification issued by Bureau of Indian Standards assures the safety, quality and reliability of the products according to Indian Standards.
